BACKGROUND

Alundra "TiCole" Mincey has 20+ years experience in all Art mediums, with a passion for Fine Arts - Painting. Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has been growing her Creative Art business in the Orlando area since 2017. She attributes the business reputation to her love for Arts and Creative freestyle mindset.

The Conception of Nuri's Corner

During one of the most difficult moments of her life, as she prepared for a C-section delivery, something unexpected happened within her mind. Instead of thoughts, sounds, or images, she saw colors—vivid paint splatters appearing whenever she closed her eyes. It was as if her mind had entered a protective, calming space, allowing only color to exist. She spoke very little during that time, lying quietly as visitors came and went. Each time she closed her eyes, the same splashes of color appeared, silent yet powerful.

After delivering her son, Nuri, as a stillborn, the colors finally gave way to a single image—his face. Though he never took a breath, opened his eyes, or moved a limb, she saw him fully as the child he was. That moment would forever change her life.

Returning home from the hospital, she was consumed by anger and confusion. She struggled to understand what it meant to have delivered a stillborn child and questioned why she had been chosen to carry such a loss. Without an outlet to scream, cry, or release her pain, she felt isolated and emotionally overwhelmed. She searched for a way to process the heartbreak and confusion that filled her mind.

Over time, her thoughts kept returning to art. Not traditional painting or carefully planned artwork, but something raw and expressive. She wanted to throw paint—literally releasing the anger, sadness, and unanswered questions onto a canvas. Although she found it difficult to express her emotions verbally, art offered a way to communicate what words could not.

Through this process, she discovered the power of creative expression as a form of healing. Determined to better understand emotional recovery and help others who may struggle to express themselves, she pursued and earned a degree in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her experiences had shown her that many people need a safe, nonverbal outlet to release their thoughts and emotions.

This realization led her to create a space where individuals could come without judgment, without interrogation, and without pressure—simply a place to create and release. That vision became Nuri’s Corner, an art studio inspired by her son’s memory.

Nuri’s Corner serves as a therapeutic creative space for people of all ages. Through expressive art and entertainment, visitors are encouraged to release their inhibitions, reconnect with their emotions, and find healing through creativity. For her, the studio is more than an art space—it is a living legacy for Nuri Azir and a mission to help children, adults, and families rediscover connection, expression, and joy through art.
